Show at Cafe Colonial, Monday, May 29th.

I went to a two day fantasy fair event in Auburn this past weekend and had a great time! I have no idea why I don’t frequent these events more often, I need to change that! So much opportunities to take fun pictures! It was sprinkling here and there, but that didn’t stop me from wandering around and seeing what there was to see! It was especially muddy near the knight fight area, but I was wearing old boots I got from the thrift store, so I wasn’t stopped from getting a bit closer because my lens doesn’t zoom that far. I’d like to get better lenses one day, but it will have to wait.
These are just a few of the pictures I took, just to get an idea. I uploaded all of them to my Facebook. As always, I always struggle with indoor photography because of my crappy gear. My outdoor ones didn’t turn out that magnificent, either! I didn’t have any weather protection for my camera, so I kind of rushed through my picture taking in order to keep it from getting sprinkled on. My gear is cheap, but all I have for now. Who am I kidding, I will probably never upgrade!
Anyways, I had a wonderful time at the fantasy fair. The escape from monotonous life was badly needed. Too much all work and no play for me. I kind of wanted to just stay in that wonderland for a little while longer. Oh well, I must wait for another similar event, and I will definitely be on the lookout!
Visit the Edge of Spring Fantasy Festival website for more info on this event and attractions! Thanks to everyone involved in that awesome event! It was quite fun!
